About Fall Frolic
Fall Frolic is an annual family fun charity event featuring a 10K Run, 5K Run, 2K Fun Run, and a Kids Obstacle Course. The event benefits children at The Montessori Academy at the South Bend Center for the Homeless, the nation's ONLY Montessori program serving homeless children, and children at The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes.

The Course
Enjoy a fast and flat course winding through the Winding Brook Park and Winding Woods neighborhoods. Click below for course maps:

The Kids Obstacle Course will be conducted on The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes campus. Please note that children will need adult supervision while parents are racing. We do not have staff assigned to supervise children. Children under age 12 who participate in the Kids Fun Run must be accompanied by an adult.

Professional Timing
The race will be timed by Race Service Company using the Chronotrack System and featuring disposable tag timers.

Registration Fees

A Family Rate of $75 is available through mail-in registration. Click here to download the Family Registration Form. Mail form and check to The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes, Attn: Fall Frolic, 530 East Day Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

On race day, registration fees increase by $5.00 per runner, including those who register under the family rate. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Online registration closes on September 27 at 11:00 p.m. EST. Please phone 574.256.5313 to register after that date.

Michiana Runners Association Discount
Members of Michiana Runners Assocation are entitled to a discount of $2 when they register online using their code.

Free T–shirts
Free T–shirts guaranteed to all who register by September 1. After September 1, registrants will receive a T–shirt while supplies last.

Parking Availability
Parking will be available in the Quality Dining parking lot on the NE Corner of Day Road and Edison Lakes Parkway (West of The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes) and in the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network parking lot on the SE corner of Day Road and Edison Lakes Parkway (Southwest of The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes).

Awards and Prizes
Race awards go to top male/female finisher in 10K, 5K and 2K. Awards will also be given three deep in each of the four overall categories: 10K male, 10K female, 5K male, and 5K female, regardless of their age. Post-race festivities include entertainment, refreshments, and a great time! Awards and prizes will be distributed during the post-race party after the last racers finish and as soon as times are posted.
